Apply Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR Training) Trains you incase there is an emergency. Its the procedure that combines chest compressions often with artificial ventilation. This is done to manually preserve intact brain function until further measures are taken to restore spontaneous blood circulation and breathing in a person who is in cardiac arrest.

Provide 1st Aid

First aid is the first and immediate assistance given to any person suffering a serious illness or injury,with care provided to preserve life, prevent the condition from worsening, or to promote recovery. It includes initial intervention whilst waiting for professional medical help to be available. This training teaches you many treatments of minor & major conditions.

HLTAID012 -Provide an emergency First Aid response in an education and care setting

This training gives you the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to infants, children and adults. The unit applies to educators and support staff working within an education and care setting who are required to respond to a first aid emergency, including asthmatic and anaphylactic emergencies.

22282VIC - Course in the management of Asthma Risks & Emergencies in the workplace

An asthma attack can quickly become an asthma emergency, but if you take quick action, you can reduce the risk of an asthma emergency. This training teaches you how to manage Asthma and the correct administration technique.

22300VIC - Course in First Aid management of Anaphylaxis

This training teaches you how to provide first aid management of anaphylaxis. It also teaches you about risk minimisation and risk management strategies for anaphylaxis

HLTWHS005 - Conduct manual tasks safely (Manual Handling)

This course teaches the skills and knowledge required to recognise potentially hazardous manual tasks, and then to prepare for and complete those tasks in a safe manner. This unit applies to all workers involved in manual handling tasks.
